SSI Dive Guide & Divemaster
The Dive Guide course is the first step in your career as a diving professional, and a prerequisite to become an Instructor.
This course allows guiding groups of already certified divers in a wide variety of environments and conditions. The course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to safely and easily manage groups of divers.
Briefings, safety protocols, dive management and organization, communication and leadership techniques, problem identification and solution, are just some of the aspects that the course will cover.
Once certified as an SSI Dive Guide, logged at least 60 dives and completed the SSI Science of Diving specialty, you will receive the certification title of SSI Divemaster.

Intensive Dive Master (includes science of diving) - £850
Alternatively contact us for our divemaster internship package, where you work with us to earn your divemaster certification. You only pay for materials and fees (cost of deposit). This is the best option for those wanting to learn the ins & outs of a dive centre and start a career in the scuba industry.

18 years old
Have logged at least 40 open water dives totaling 25 hours or more.
Have the following SSI certifications or equivalent from a recognised training agency:
Diver Stress & Rescue
Have the following SSI cerfications, an equivalent from a recognised training agency, or provide proof of experience by show at least five (5) logged experience dives in each of the following areas:
Deep Diving | Deeper than 30 metres
Navigation
Night & Limited Visability

Intensive course will be spread over 14 days.
Internship - a minimuim of 3 months will be required to gain a deeper insight into the running of a dive centre.

Log at least 60 open water dives totaling 40 hours or more
Pass all requirements and evaluations listed in the Divemaster manual.
Complete at least two (2) open water training dives as outlined in the Divemaster manual.
Complete the active status requirements for an SSI Professional.
Pass the Science of Diving final exam.
